Logotype for SAGANet (Social Action for a Grassroots Astrobiology Network), an organisation of astrobiology researchers and PhD students that does a lot of public outreach, for example Ask an Astrobiologist sessions on Twitter @saganorg. 2015

They produced several items with the logo for a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for accreditation from the International Mentoring Association for their SAGANet Mentoring Program. One of their members tatooed the logo on his forearm.

The logo symbolises astrobiology by combining a phylogenetic tree* with a planetary system.
(*A phylogenetic tree (tree of life) is a branch diagram (“tree”) showing the evolutionary relationships between different species.)
