Women in Space Sweden

Women in Space Sweden is a network of women in Sweden, working in or somehow connected to the space industry and research and related fields.

The Northern Lights of the logo represents both Sweden and space.

Bright light lighting up the sky also has a connotation of bringing new knowledge and enlightenment. The colour is similar to the greens of northern lights.

The shape of the aurora is similar to that of a crown as a symbol of empowerment.

The font for the text “Women in Sweden” is clean cut and has sharp points which goes well with the spikes of the Northern Lights in the symbol.
