Lord of the Rings fan art

A remake of a collage art work I made 20 years ago, for the 20th anniversary of the release of the first LORD OF THE RINGS movie in December 2021. It was such a fantastic cinematic experience. I was originally afraid that it would ruin the experience of the book, but it exceeded any expectations. I’m celebrating the occasion with this remake of my 1996 (!) 9th grade art project. I’ve redrawn it digitally, and originally it was paper collage and hand calligraphy of the Ring inscription in Tengvar Black Speech. The paper is a bit bubbly and the colours somewhat faded.
